AMIR’ Montepulciano Riserva DOC 2008 is a remarkable expression of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, crafted from 100% Montepulciano grapes grown in a prestigious 80-year-old vineyard in Collecorvino. The wine showcases a deep ruby-red color and an elegant yet powerful bouquet, offering aromas of ripe cherries, violets, liquorice, and subtle spicy notes, which create a complex and inviting fragrance. On the palate, AMIR’ is intense and velvety, with a harmonious and well-balanced tannin structure that provides a smooth and lasting finish. It is recommended to decant the wine and allow at least 6 hours to open up, revealing its full character. Tasting it over multiple days—after one, two, and even three days—will allow you to experience its development and subtle changes.
釀酒過程/Winemaking Process

The grapes are gently pressed, followed by a 10-day fermentation period with vigorous fermentation. Afterward, the wine undergoes 30 days of maceration with the skins in stainless steel tanks, with natural malolactic fermentation. It is aged for 24 months in 30-hectoliter Slavonian oak barrels and barriques, followed by a minimum of 10 months of bottle evolution. This wine can continue to evolve in the bottle for 8 to 10 years.
